Cupcake 27

I stumbled upon this site. 33 gorgeous cupcakes later, I was infinitely inspired to bake. Baking is something I’ve never attempted to do on my own. Partly because I’m afraid the oven will blow up in my face (there must be a scientific name for that phobia), but mostly because I’m afraid of burnt cupcakes–and there’s nothing a fire extinguisher or a plastic surgery can do about that.
But because I bought mom a hand mixer for her birthday, and because I have been pinning food way too much, I set out to conquer my fears.

p.s. I’m proud to announce that I frosted that cupcake using a Ziploc in place of a proper piping bag. *pat on back*.
